82 K's in 42.1 IP in AA

that's insane for a starting pitcher. He had 10+ K's in 6 of his 9 starts in AA (and he never went more than 6 innings)

Is there a reason why prospects do not spend a lot of time in AAA? Seems like AA is the 1 stop shop to evaluate prospect talent.

I think the plan was to have them all pitch in Toledo this year before corona hit

Looks dreadful today.

Of course he will probably face the Twins soon and dominate our shit lineup

The Twins have won 5 of the last 7 games. Stop complaining, the bats will come around.

Then again, asking you to stop complaining is like asking you to stop breathing, so I shouldn't even bother.

He looked more nervous than dreadful. I think he will very good once he gains some experience.

And Tim Anderson (I believe that's his name) -- he has absolutely annihilated Tigers pitching. Seems like he leads off the game with a HR every time against Detroit.

Not sure at any point I said "the Twins can't win games"

But then again, asking you to properly comprehend would be asking the impossible.

Oh yeah he will be good. But he definitely wasn't fooling anyone. He might even of been tipping his pitches. Seemed like Mazara and Anderson knew exactly what was coming.

Most real prospects in AAA are usually just working on improving several aspects of their game and/or just waiting to get called up. A lot of AAA players are guys that either used to be in the majors or never really made the jump to the majors.

I think the gap between A/A+ and AA is much bigger than the gap between AA and AAA.

It don't matter who is pitching from Detroit -- Anderson hammers
them. He has slow pitch softball type numbers against Detroit pitching:lol:

I am not sure if he was tipping anything, but I think his pitch sequences were predictable and it will be something they have to work on.

That first home run from Anderson to lead off the game was a bomb and it was a 96 mph on the inside corner -- exactly where the catcher asked for it. That guy is a one man wrecking crew against Detroit
