We've got a lead now that even Dempster should be able to hang on to. But he's up to 100 pitches now, so so I wouldn't object to lifting him now.

To give Nixon his due you could never fault his effort, but he just didn't have
Evan's arm or Victorino's ground covering speed.

Always felt a bit sorry for him being stuck with the same last name as the rightfully impeached
former President, for what that's worth.

nope, I was born in '91. Evans is a player I really wish I could have been around for. Very good player for a long time. Could hit and field.

I turned 65 last December. Came to Boston in Dave Cowens' rookie season with the Celtics.

Back then I would never have expected my native city, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, to have
anything but minor-league teams.

If this site allowed one to list 4 favorite teams the Thunder would be on my list.

We can't actually eliminate the Sinstripes from the post-season even if we sweep them,
but we CAN do some serious damage to them.

I'll probably start a thread on the series tomorrow, but won't mind if someone beats me to it.

I wish we could too because we all know what happens the next game when the Red Sox have an offensive explosion like last night. But what a show! Let's hope it continues....
