The Phillies seem to be set with what they have. Without adding a starting pitcher jvetts man Vinnie will be a starter trying to prove his worth once again. Crawford will be starting at short with the hope he will learn how to hit. Franco is a similar story at 3rd. The outfield looks solid with 4 guys who can hit. Alfaro could add punch as a power hitting catcher. First base has a new flavor that may help with power also. Florimon may return as a bench player. Relievers have been updated and improved. We should be able to add more wins as a result of playing the marlins and their minor league line up. Our pen will lose less games in the late innings. Maybe a 500 team at best unless we get a free agent starter that gets the job done. We need to do that in order to make at least a wild card run. IMO.
