Do you honestly see Osman getting 30 minutes a game though?

Wiggy thinks he is. I don't know. It is possible. Just look at their roster. Who else is playing?

hmmmmm...it depends...it depends if Hood comes back, and if Hood comes back how well he plays, and if they play Hood at the 3--- or whoever they decide to play at the 3.

Right now between the 2 and the 3 they have the following options in all likelihood: Osman, JR, Korver, Hood, Clarkson. Who starts, and who plays where, and who gets what minutes will likely be a product of who actually gets the job done on the court.

Osman prob. wont get 30 minutes a game early on- but once the season really starts rolling- I think it will be clear the job is his and he will take that starting role and get about that many minutes a night.

I think the important thing to note is that if Ingram were on the Cavs, he would probably average 18-21, and if Osman were on the Lakers gen might not be in the rotation. Statistical production is all about opportunity.
Where are the PPG going to come from on the Lakers?

James is option #1......of the clown crew they signed....

McGee wasn't brought in to score.

Rondo was brought in to play PG, not score a ton. 10-11ppg is his ceiling, if he starts.

Stephenson was brought in for toughness and defense.

Beasley could put up 9-10ppg off the bench.

Ingram will be the #2 option and playing with passers like James, Rondo, and Ball he'll get his.

I do believe of all the kids.....Kuzma's numbers may take a hit on a more balanced team.

He is a backup.

Clarkson and Hood both provide more upside. IMO.

Osman won't average 30mpg.

The Cavs aren't THAT BAD.

He will be. I agree with that.

But I also think there will be a lot of guys tha the could average 10-15. Kuzma, KCP, Ball, Rondo, Maybe McGee, Rondo or Hart.

It is possible that your second leading scorer averages something like 15.5 if it is super balanced.

Wiggy is absolutely crushing Shaqdaddy in his homerism in this thread. She needs to bounce back if she wants to remain competitive with him in homerdom.

If he plays 25 minutes a game he definitely could.

And I think he will have to play significantly more minutes than he did at GS.

Hard to see him being able to stay on the court for 25 minutes a game. He's quite hacky.

McGee average double figures?

Last 2 seasons McGee has averaged 6.1 and 4.8 respectively, both in under 10 minutes per game.

In the playoffs last year, he averaged 6.5 in 12.2 minutes.

When he gets minutes, he is a very efficient scorer. He will get buckets in pick and roll with LeBron and he get his share of stick backs.

I think McGee averages at least 8 per game and there is a decent shot he approaches double figures if he plays 20 + minutes. Again, it is all about opportunity. He will have more in LA this year than he had in GS, despite his obvious flaws.

Maybe not.

But the Lakers probably have to give him the opportunity to do so, don't you think?

They just don't have many quality options there.

If McGee averages 8 a game, I will grow wings and establish a colony on Mars.

Well they don't have a lot of choices. They are going to need McGee and Zubac to at least give 5 fouls a game most likely.

Seems like they have built a team specifically designed to compete against the Warriors but with far lesser pieces, outside of Lebron. Hard to see how they will be able to do with teams with big front court players like the Pels, Twolves, and Utah.

do not doubt the Cedi.

I can see you are doubting him.

6 months from now you will be begging for my forgiveness. Believe that.
