think im gonna need new tires sooner than i thought

You prolly know this, but you must get that alignment done before installing the new tires...well at least when you get the new tires anyways.

I did it the next morning, I heard a lot of varying opinions, most said wait til they are replaced, i'd say I put maybe 25 miles on the new tires before the alignment

Interesting...I've not heard wait for a few days to get the alignment....but 25 miles isn't hurting anything.

I thought you did it after new tires. Didn't know about waiting to get it done for a few miles. Seems just a few miles down the highway would get em up to temp and any settling done. Most places will say they can't align worn out tires.

no not wait a few days, just wait until after its done...the only reason I waited til the next day was cause the shop where I got them mounted didn't do alignments, and the place I went for the alignment couldn't fit me in that afternoon, so I went back first thing the next morning

ideally, they wouldn't have done the alignment right after putting the tires on, but the shop didn't have that capability

The reason you want to get the alignment before the new tires is so that the alignment tech and "read" the wear on your tires. It's easy to see where the problem is by looking at the old tires. Not a huge issue, just something that helps a bit.
