Elway was given an opportunity to improve.

In 1983, Elway started 10 games as a rookie. He was awful.

Elway finished 4-6 as a starter that year. He threw seven touchdowns, 14 interceptions and completed just 47.5 percent of his passes. Elway also had one game-winning drive during that span, something he'd become known for during his career.

When you compare the two player's stats, there really is no comparison.

In 10 starts, Tebow has 14 touchdown passes, six rushing touchdowns and four interceptions. And perhaps the most intriguing stat considering how much he's been scrutinized about his passing, Tebow has a higher completion percentage at 48 percent.

I agree. There is only one difference: Elway could play quarterback at an NFL level.

Because he was given ample opportunity.

Unfortunately, the world isn't unicorns and rainbows; some people truly are black balled/disenfranchised/discriminated against/etc.

And some people are give opportunity after opportunity after opportunity.

Welcome to our forum, Mrs. Tebow. Can I call you Pam?

Um, no. No he wouldn't. Tebow has some of the worst mechanics I've ever seen from an NFL QB. Comparing Tebow to the Mannings or Elway is ludicrous.

Answer the question though, please.

I already did and the cold hard facts aren't enough for you, so I obviously have no chance to turn you into a reasonable person.

The difference between Tebow and Elway is that Elway holds the reins of the Broncos and he traded Tebow's "unable to be an NFL quarterback" ass. Thanks kid. It was briefly a fun ride but we're on to athletes that can actually play in the NFL.

Kesslers passer rating and comp % are both almost 20 points higher than Tebows.

Kessler I disagree with. Kessler at least shows some accuracy.

Kaep is so bad he's approaching Tebow territory, I'll give you that.

Tebow could easily be a serviceable qb in the NFL, thetc qbing in the NFL sucks beyond the top half.

You're just predisposed of dislike him.
