Oh no doubt they do. Way too many holes to fill with too little a transfer budget. In any case, the Walcott news gives me a glimmer of hope that they will at least try to retain their youngsters and reward them with contracts rather than just letting them walk since they have gotten too expensive.

What I'm wondering is why hasn't Wenger addressed the defensive issues, mainly the DM spot? If Arsenal is currently the 3rd highest earning club in the Prem (and 6th overall when comparing all clubs in Europe), you'd figure he'd be busy looking at replacements for Song. Diaby is not the answer.

RvP was better. It's obvious the dip in form Arsenal is struggling with out there - you just can't sell your best players every season and expect your replacements to pick up your team right where it left off, as there's an adjustment period.
