Cole seems to have struggled with being comfortable with his positioning on the mound tonight.......He's looking down/back at the mound area after an awful lot of pitches......Not sure what this means, other than, perhaps he's just not comfortable tonight.

IMO, going into the off season, DeShields is the favorite, as of tonight. Can't imagine he wouldn't be.

Well they definitely need speed in CF with Mazara in RF. DeShields is also competing for LF as well. Hard for me to get past the arm but he is definitely a spark plug in lineup especially with all these sluggers who often .....

He's still learning the position actually. Don't forget, he was originally a MIF, and therefore, he's a work-in-progress.

My guess as of tonight, speculation for next years starting OF would be Calhoun/DeShields/Mazara.

Gallo may take LF too especially if Guzman has 1B. That means two big arms in OF to balance out DDJ. Have to think Calhoun will get significant time in lineup. Too many DHs though
