It's too bad they couldn't work things out. I actually loved that arc, but then again, I loved everything Darabont did with this show.

And what’s weird is that he is exploring the cause of the virus now with the World Beyond stuff. And I suspect that storyline will continue in the movies.

Maybe Kirkman just wasnt ready to explore that side of the story back then. But now that he has squeezed every ounce of blood from the Walking Dead rock, he figures, “why not?”.

Had to turn it off. I swear I will get back to it. Are we close to the finish?

This final season is broken into 3 parts. This weekend will be ep 3 of part 2 (ep 4 if you are watching on AMC streaming). It is really rough watching, though. The show is absolute garbage at this point.

Rosita is still alive. Though it is hard to remember since they drop characters for what seems like full seasons at a time.

the character was handled much better in the books. They sold the fact that he was a better human in the books than in the show. In the show, he was a bad guy, then wanted to be a good guy without the character development.

How that is possible with the increased time allowed to explore that character growth in the show is beyond me.
