I was surprised there was no thread on this.
I generally side with management when it comes to training camp hold outs. But I think that Earl is a special case. First of all he is on the last year of his contract. Second of all he is one of the leaders of this team and has never been a problem for the club. Third of all, we need him to perform well this year for the defense to have a chance of being good.
I get that teams never want to look like they can be blackmailed which is why I generally side with management but I do think this is a special situation.
