Smart play would be to go back to the arrow / spear. Go with no team name or mascot. This controversy crops up every few years as the cause celebre for white SJW types. The Redskins are a crappy enough team already without having to change their slur team name to something innocuous.

But I think Snyder will eventually figure out he can gouge his few remaining fans by rebranding everything and call the team something stupid like Defenders or Swarm.

Would continue to invite controversy. Plus, there is allegedly some backstory to allowing Redskins as a name, but no connection to Warriors. They could go back to Braves, I suppose.

Why? Its not a caricature or a picture mocking the common native American, I dont see the issue with the picture itself. Hopefully thats the compromise the Snyder goes with, and anyone who doesnt like it can suck his (and my) dick
