I'm still trying to figure out how Hue Jackson/Chuck B. blew that game yesterday. No matter how you feel about Palmer, the simple fact is that the Raiders are a flawed team - That defense is awful and they are not well-coached. It's like watching the AFCW version of a Marvin Lewis coached team.

Carson actually had a good game minus the one throw where he missed Moore in the endzone. Bush had a good game. They didn't turn it over. They got a couple of bad penalties at bad times (it is the Raiders), and let Calvin Johnson whip them late.

That's the thing. They got plenty out of that offense and they should have easily won the game. They also got a terrific punt from Lechler making Detroit's comeback even more improbable.

Why on earth Chuck Breshnehan was ever given another D-coordinator position is anyone's guess.

Well, there was that sack Carson took, holding onto the ball way too long and effectively ending their chance to get the game winning field goal......

Yeah, that definitely hurt. I wish that last FG hadn't been blocked. I would love to have seen how close it came.
