Nine time Grammy Award winner Natalie Cole received only a brief recognition at the end of the awards show while other less notable performers received extended recognition.

No. It seems like they do this every year. Whoever is in charge of the in memorium section of these shows needs to evaluate what they're doing a little better. The woman won nine Grammys. A little recognition wouldn't have been out of the question.
