“Tombstone”, Kurt Russell, Val Kilmer, Sam Elliott and Bill Paxton. Watched it on Xfinity On Demand, free movies. Probably the third time I’ve watched it but I always pick up something I missed previously. Always been a big western fan and a great one it was.

Seems like I saw Tombstone, but with a different cast. I think there was more than one.

Wyatt Earp with Kevin Costner in the lead.

It was more focused on Earps backstory than on the OK Corral incident.

Both movies came out the same summer.

Yeah, that's the one I saw. Even my wife liked that one.

Watched The Post last week at the theatre. Nominated for best pic and I would rate it the 2nd best movie I saw from 2017s crop. Meryl Streep and Tom Hanks give stellar performance at the publisher and the editor of the Washington Post struggle with the question of releasing the Pentagon Papers and possibly losing the paper and going to jail.

Even though they ultimately did it, the last 1/3 of the movie was griping as the pros and cons of publishing come to the forefront.

It's well worth your time to see this Nixon era movie.

I saw “The Post” in Hagerstown, Md. a while ago. I agree with your review, very good movie. Last night I watched “The Natural” with Robert Redford on Comcast On Demand.

I really like Tom Hanks but really hate Streep. That makes this a DVD movie someday.

Streep didn't really deserve an academy award nomination this time. I think they just automatically put here name down every year.

Absolutely. She did her usual good performance as Katherine Graham and had the best line of the movie

"It's not my father paper or my husbands paper, it's my paper"

But not oscar worthy.

Just saw the Death Wish remake starring Bruce Willis. I thought that it was the typical vigilante gets revenge type movie. Still an enjoyable movie to watch with some creative deaths I thought. I think that Bruce was a good fit for this role. I never saw the originals so I can't really say whether it stayed true to those or not. 3 out of 5 stars

The Natural is a classic.

I was very young when the movie came out and all I knew was that I liked baseball so I enjoyed it just fine. But when I got older and read the book I was never able to look at what they'd done to the material in the same way again. It changes everything about the story, and not for the better in my opinion.

Speaking of baseball movies, Bull Durham is my all time favorite.

Mine would probably be a tossup between Field of Dreams and Major League with Pride of the Yankees slightly behind.
