You know, I’ve never had a problem with hockey, except for maybe the idea that he can get a dirty shot anytime and it’s just part of the game. I guess that’s true for other sports as well. I wouldn’t want to have to take something to be a man or give something out to be a man. I’d rather just play the game. And some people say that is the game.

I have no qualms admitting I’m not tough enough to take a shot. I’d only do it if needed to protect my family and even then, I would fear that I would think of it in time - not a fear but rather less confidence in reaction time.
