$5 for steal not trade, right?

I suggest stealing anyone, but more $$ per round, and you have to be within 15 picks of when a player was taken to steal him, and you must be OTC. If you steal a 1st rounder, you give up your OTC, plus you give that person $15 of your cap. 2nd rounders stolen cost OTC and $12, 3rd cost OTC and $8, all other steals OTC plus 5

Example, if we have 12 guys in draft, and I have pick pick #24 overall, and I want to steal the guy taken at #11,,it will cost me my OTC and $15M

Ohh yah, my bad lol

Hmm...I like the idea

I say too make it less complicated just do:

1. You have to be OTC to steal
2. The player you steal cannot be taken in more than 1 round before you steal (Ex. You can steal a player in the 3rd round any pick if you are OTC for a any 4th round pick but not if you are OTC for a 5th round pick)
3. To make a steal you pay for: amount of player originally +5 + OTC BUT if you trade for a 1-3 rounds pick their is an additional cap fee.
Round 1: An extra $5
Round 2: An extra $4
Round 3: An extra $3

Ex: You are OTC for a 2nd round pick. You can either steal for a 1st round pick or 2nd pick. If you steal a 1st rounder you will pay $5 + additional $5 + OTC pick. If you steal a 2nd rounder you will pay $5 + additional $4 + OTC pick

This is just like yours except instead of the $15, $12 and $8 it will be set prices for each round increasing by $1 starting at just $3.

If we have $250 cap that should be plenty to get a great team without $0 players IMO

I don't like the different values. I think it should be one price across the board. Whether that is a set price ($5 per steal) or a % of the original price (Price + half the original price), I don't really care.

I'm fine with no $0 players.

Limits on how many times a player may get stolen, how many times an owner can steal, and how many times an owner can get stolen from?

There are no players worth more than 19 dollars. 250 is WAY to high.

I would say a 195 budget at the highest

And all players ineligible for the HOF are worth 20 dollars. No matter what.

200 or 225?

MLB players did cost more but we also had backups and bullpen guys which did cost a lot less other than closers. Remember we have to fill 24 positions and they are ALL on the field.

I am fine with no $0 players too.

Well then you cant have the cap lower IMO

No not saying that players not good enough to be in the HOF should cost 20. Only the ineligible. As in players who have not yet retired or players who retired the last couple seasons.

Must they have played a game in the Super Bowl era? Did I hear that mentioned in the other thread?

Idk...We haven't done that in previous drafts so I think they stay the same price. We just need to make it HOF or not bc guys that aren't in the HOF but WILL BE they aren't in for sure so it will be too confusing. But what about HOF players before the merger: $20?

What about 2006. Bc remember we have 1976 to 2000. That isn't a huge window.

I say players before the merger aren't eligible unless they are HOF and they cost $20.

No players after 2006 are eligible. So a player drafted in 2006 is eligible.

Smitty said he might be interested if it didn't get too complicated, this may complicate things...
