The 2015 F1 cars thread

We will start getting to see this year's competitors on Wednesday, when Force India becomes the first squad to take the wraps off of their 2015 car. Williams will supposedly follow suit on Thursday (this is the rumor, anyway). The only other 'hard' dates that I've found so far are for McLaren to unveil their new car on 1/29 & Ferrari to follow on 1/30. I'll post pics - as well as further release dates - as they become available, so check back here often.

Sauber will unveil their 2015 car on Jan 30th.

Still no word on when RBR will take the wraps off of theirs. The web is filled will news-article interviews of Ricciardo, Kvyat, Horner and Newey today, so I have to believe that they'll show their hand (or rather their car) any day now.

Maybe even yet today?

Finally found something on Red Bull Racing's plans. The RB11 will not make it's debut until Feb 1, as it hasn't passed the mandatory FIA crash tests yet.

The side pods on these cars are starting to resemble Andy Granitelli's turbine cars of the late sixties in the old USAC series and the ones that nearly won the Indy 500 back in the day.

Red BUll Racing has released the RB11 in a 'camouflage' livery, which I assume will not be permanent.
