No Kansas schools?
This is why I don't like going to four power conferences. In basketball hell yes you want Kansas...in football not so much.

It would make sense for Kansas to join the Big Ten for basketball and C-USA or AAC for football.

Kansas St...? I don't know.

I suppose the Big XII could still exist, but they'd have to pluck some teams from other conferences.

I think this is great. The more big games the better.

Damn it must suck being an Oklahoma fan. You guys have so much history and tradition and you still can’t get invited into a conference without Texas.
Texas holding back OU is nothing new

I still don't believe it.

But, it is HILARIOUS the reports that they purposely left A&M out of everything, and did not bother to even tell them or get their opinions.

Poor Aggie will be the laughingstock yet again.

Seeing these reports that Alabama, LSU, Florida, and Georgia just simply did not care enough to even let A&M into the negotiations.

but, it still seems a bit of an off-season nothing burger. Funny but probably Fiction.

There have been several reports that the Big 12 heads along with the ADs had a meeting last night, all 10 teams were invited, 2 didnt show up, im sure you can guess which two. There have also been reports from both Texas and OU board members and donors and Alums that there is a lot of truth to what is being reported. From everything I have read from good sources is that this move is happening and it may be 2023 or sooner.

It’s not fiction, it’s done or this never gets out.

Without knowing nitty gritty details, in response would like to see ACC revisit admitting WVU, and give Notre Dame an ultimatum, and if rebuffed, find another to be the 16th member….

Yeah, a 9-1 season and a #4 ranking to finish the year is a laughing stock.

You know what is really hilarious is t.u. being on their 3rd head coach since running Mac out of town and then watch him finish in a New Years bowl game.

I still don't believe it.

You having a hard time realizing that Texas is going to follow A&Ms lead? Must suck to be the "big brother" and have to watch "little brother" show you the path and follow along like a little puppy dog.

ACC apparently reached out to Texas and Oklahoma as well. Obviously they were never going to come to the ACC but it clearly says that the ACC will keep up with the SEC additions. First lock is Notre Dame. Then, unfortunately, probably WVU. Maybe they can get Maryland back into the fold.

KU is 3rd in revenue in the Big 12 behind UT and OU, IIRC. If KU is out on top of OU and UT, the conference is basically deader than dead.

Makes sense, they can get an auto win for football and get that BB revenue in.

Yeah, KU seems like a good match for the B1G. Does ISU have a sufficient endowed fund?

Of note: The only remaining AAU schools in the Big 12 are KU and ISU, essentially.
