Suns New Uniforms

We all know the Suns released their new logos awhile back and now they have been teasing us with photos of what the new uniforms will look like. Just wanted to see what you people thought of the logos and the little bits we have seen of those uniforms.

Also, there have been reports that the Suns are going to be one of five teams to wear sleeved jerseys, like the Warriors did last year .



Here are some rumors on the new jerseys:

- There will once again be an orange alternate uniform, the “PHX” abbreviated script is not returning, it will read “SUNS” instead.
- The road uniform is purple as shown above, and will once again say “PHOENIX” across the front.
- Uniform scripts will be diagonal going up from left to right, like they were back in the 1990s
- The home uniform, obviously white, appears to be mostly orange and black otherwise – I wouldn’t be surprised if there were not any purple on the home and alternate uniforms.

If it's a slight tweak of the 1993-2001 jerseys then I can live with that.

The S logo is still dumb as is the new 'SUNS' across center court.

I really wish they would bring back the 1968-1992 jerseys with the old-west lettering. I try to find one on eBay every now and then, but I can only find 2XL or other larger sizes.

If it's neither of the previous jerseys, then this is a worthless gimmick that further tarnishes the proud heritage of our team.

That "Rising Phoenix" logo looks out of place. It's the only one with purple.

It also seems like they couldn't settle on a shade of Orange with the "S" and "Suns" logo.

My guess as to what the Suns Uniforms

Here is an idea I threw together (I am not a professional designer) based on the teaser images that have been released so far. It is my best guess as to what the uniforms will look like.

I would like to give credit to the designer of the "Project 34" uniform template that I borrowed from.

Nice, I wouldn't mind those. Im hoping those rumors of bringing back the Sun burst on the front were true. Seeing your uni though, it made me think the sun burst might just be the shorts one.
