Long time ago, I went to a concert in a nearby small town. There was supposed to be a big time rock band there (which I didn't like and never have) They never showed up to the concert. But this under act said they would play a double set. It happened to be a little known band "Mason Proffit". In that era they were a band with no niche.......a combination country, rock, and folk....and a little liberal. Best live band I've ever heard.......great voices....great musicianship.... great blend .....They were a garage band out out of Chicago and Indiana.
some songs I recommend by them
Hope
In the Country/Sparrow
Two Hangmen
Walk Down The Road
Black September/Belfast
They were a band way ahead of their time. I still play their music to this day.
