Steelers place Levi Brown on injured reserve

Levi Brown’s season in Pittsburgh was a short one.

Brown, the offensive tackle obtained in a trade with the Cardinals on October 2, has been placed on injured reserve without playing a single game for the Steelers.

The Steelers expected Brown to play on Sunday, but he suffered a triceps injury in pregame warmups, and that injury has now ended his season.

This is comical. The Steelers gave up something for nothing. This sucks for the Cardinals too, they lose the potential for a better draft pick.

Yet another great move by SK. Although Adrian Wilson was one of my favorite Cardinals, he was let go at the perfect time. Now Brown, one of my least favorite Cardinals was traded for something and may never play another snap as a starter. I'm loving the aggressive moves thus far.

I have to agree with orange! Not see that guy allow one more sack for this team is reward enough! I hated the sacks but I completely loathed all the false start penalties he would get! It always seems like it was on 3rd and short to boot!
