Quick saved their ass 5 times but Kings don't believe in deking or faking, just skate in and shoot. As the late great Ox would say, much to my agreement, "It's a stupid way to decide a hockey game"

Solid game from the Kings, they had their chances but couldn't bury them. Also credit Elliott, he played a hell of a game. He made some big saves, the Kings were buzzing.

Pearson showed exactly why I think he will be the one to go to shore up the back end. Good skill, overall good player but a utility player. I think patience is running thin with him and he really needs to improve his stats and status on the team otherwise he will be moved for help elsewhere.

The officiating, I don't know what to say. That is the second time in a few weeks the refs have made the wrong call (Muzzin - AZ and the rescinded Match Penalty) and this time the 5 minute major for God knows what. Last time it gave the Dogs a few PP goals that ultimately gave them a point they didn't deserve. At least this time it didn't burn the Kings but they shouldn't have been put in that place in the first place.

McNabb didn't do jack but it took 5 minutes off the clock that the Kings could be attacking instead of killing a penalty, not to mention that wears a team out.
