I was in the middle of making a post about the Lions 4 turnovers and how Stafford would never be a NFL quarter back. Then we won and I was rather surprised.
I just rewatched the last minute thirty for the third time. (Missed seeing it live, radio didn't do it justice). I just want to thank the side judge for throwing a flag for holding. Durham for somehow getting wideass open down the sideline, Staff for absolutely threading the fucking needle, Schwartz and Gunns for blitzing A LOT, and Staff again for pulling a semi-Marino by not clocking it. Oh yeah, and CJ for being one bad muthafugga.
Tried to grab some of my missed sleep after the game but John Facenda kept ringing in my head...
"It was a day when the football Gods had nothing but tricks and treats to pass out."
