Sox fire Juan Nieves

Red Sox have fired pitching coach Juan Nieves after the rotation compiled a league worst 5.54 ERA and averaged 5 2/3 innings per start.

This will fix the problem! It's obviously his fault. It's not like every Sox fan I know was worried shitless about the rotation before the year began

I think they should have put him in the rotation instead. Mismanaged resources.

While there is no ace the entire rotation and bullpen have been horrible so far, they should at least be solid. I know he is not the sole problem but he most likely is part of it. Changes need to be made sooner rather than later and this is step one. Next get an ace and some pen arms.
