Most of the league would kill to have to pay Wilson his contract.

This cut is because Reed flat out isn't worth his contract. Reed has major deficiencies in his game and he is being paid as a top 12 DT right now. It was just a bad contract.

I'm not sure how you can say he's a stud, but not worth that money.

Got it. I'm not very familiar with Reed, so I appreciate the info. And yes, I think all but about 5 or 6 teams would trade their QB (and then some) for Wilson in a second.

Actually he is 15th in DT salary but the point remains generally correct.

I wouldn't say his game has major deficiencies but his production next to Avril or Dunlap was very good, but his production, particularly interior pressure, went way down when next to the subpar pass rushing DEs Seattle has trotted out.
