Minus about 85% of the commuters that make the trek to Glendale a PITA. Heading west on the 417 at 5-6 pm isn't bad. $30 for parking is a ripoff but that's, what, $10 more than what they pay in DT Van or TO?

In Vancouver theres a mass transit alternative so you dont HAVE pay for parking if you go to a game ... is there one in Kanata (idk)?

I looked and i saw there were $20 dollar lot alternatives for the Sens and a $30 lot ... get the impression they raised the rates for second round but yah thats not a total deal breaker preventing people from going to games ... however I did see some accounts on twitter that make it seem it was like a "luxury fyre festival" type atmosphere for many getting out of those parking lots post game last night lol

Sure it's the playoffs and sure there is a bunch of very good young talent in this league, but besides that I find myself caring less and less about the NHL these days. I don't really care for the on ice product as much. The league keeps tweaking the rules, has a ridiculous point system and rules that change from face off to face off and refs that game manage. Playoff tickets are expensive and I have a feeling there are a lot of fans who mirror my sentiments about the game today. I could go to the Ducks game tonight for two people and spend $130 which is a hell of a deal and still I chose to do other things with my money (not coke and hookers for those wondering).

Tony Gallagher, is that you?

/I agree with pretty much all of the above (including coke and hookers)

I see stub hub has $79 tickets available for game 2 (lowest price right now) ... click through for the service charges and it goes to $97.30 for the ticket .... in US dollars

Turned on the game just in time to see Pageau score.

You're welcome Sens fans...

I'll take JG Pageau to complete the Joe Thornton cock trick with the OT winner.

I haven't seen a high sticking penalty botched that badly since Kerry Fraser in 1993.
