NL
MVP - Votto
I think this is pretty much a three-man race between Votto, CarGo and Pujols. Pujols loses out because StL did not make the playoffs and CarGo loses out because I think voters will still down grade his performance because he is in Denver.
CY - Halladay
Jimenez would have been the run-away if they only played an 81-game schedule.
ROY - Posey
I think he officially won the award today. The whole nation was watching when he hit a HUGE HR to pretty much cinch the season for the Giants.
MOY - Bud Black
Bobby Cox might get it since this is his last year, but Bud Black deserves it, hands down.
AL
MVP - Hamilton
I think too many voters are suspicious of Bautista.
CY - Sabathia
King Felix deserves it, though. Kid led the league with 249.2 IP and his ERA was almost a full run lower than C.C.'s (2.27 vs 3.18). However, 21 wins vs 13 wins is significant.
ROY - Feliz
Pretty weak class in the AL compared to the NL crop.
MOY - Gaston
No run-away for this award. I would not be shocked to see Showalter get it in Baltimore, but I think Gaston will get it as a good-bye gift. Maybe Gardenhire as well.
