Yea.. kinda cause we dont got none.. sort of.

How can you tell?

WRs were running that or similar routes all day. He should've tried that in the 1st qt. And I don't know if the Saints run a system where the same CB always plays the same side, but if they do. Their LCB gives up inside position a lot.

We paid a big price to get a lateral transfer . And the abc crowd assured me. CDC was a winner . Wrong again

Substitute Kirk Cousins for Alex Smith in that game and the result would have been 43-19 Saints give or take a FG for us. This was a total team beatdown, neither Smith nor Cousins on a Monday night with this team would have made a difference. Believing otherwise suspends historical facts.

It seems to me that they have it exactly backwards, teams wanting to be contenders are focused and serious about reaching that goal, while teams that have already established themselves as belonging to winning programs can inject a little more "joking around" time at practices. The difference is, good and great teams understand that business is business and fun is fun, there's a time a place for all of that, bad teams confuse the two and it shows in their performances.

Have to disagree with you. I won't say the Redskins would have won with Cousin's but history tells us that Cousin's threw a TD pass with 9:02 to Sprinkle last year putting the Redskins up 31-16 and the defense blew the lead in those last 9:02. Cousin's was 22 for 32 with 322 yards and 3 TDs. Of course this just points out again that it is a team game. I submit that Cousin's performance was significantly better than Smith's and would have been this year also.

I should also add that Perine ran for over 100 yards.

OK we disagree, what Cousins did a year ago doesn't account for the make up and abilities of this year's team to focus and execute plays the way it was done a year ago. Unless you believe that Cousin's mere presence compels them to block, tackle, run and catch, better than they did on Monday night, then I'm not sure where you're going with this. :noidea:

Then it's a draw because I believe KC gets us 19 (give or take a FG). The entire team played poorly, Kirk playing well despite the team around him doesn't make sense. See here's what you would have to believe, Kirk would play well with a paltry running attack, piss poor blocking in front of him, no defense and a receiving group that right now doesn't concern the opposition. How do you know that Kirk wouldn't fall in line as he's done in the past Monday nights and either fumble or throw picks? It's a new season, things change from year to year.

You know where I am going Sty, Cousin's is a better QB. You disagree … don't think the immovable object is going to change the irresistible forces opinion.

You are right that they aren't the same teams. Last years offense should have been worse. Injuries to the OL, Reed, CT halfway through the game. Cousin's threw TD passes to CT, Sprinkle and Grant. You could also argue that this teams WRs are worse.
