I say no, stick with what we have. I like what we have in Logan, but he is still in a prove it position at first. If we don't get production from either 1b or LF this year as I know Jack Z is hoping, then those two spots will be priority next offseason. Going out and getting an old washed up Howard doesn't help us in the present, and definitely will set us back for the future.

Seattle doesn't get hot enough in the summer to need the air conditioning he provides.

No thanks. He's been hurt two of the last four years, is 35 years old, and would be going from a bandbox of a ballpark to a hitter's nightmare of a ballpark. Not worth it. There's no guarantee he'd be any better than Morrison and he doesn't hit right-handed, so you couldn't platoon him with Morrison either.

This thread is wasted space. There is no scenario whatsoever in which Ryan Howard is traded to Seattle.

not to mention that 1b is still an area that needs addressing based on responses on this board...Howard, like it or not, is a 1b option that is available. I in no way advocated for the move, just throwing it out there to stir up conversation

I have no interest really in Howard. However I would be lying if I said I was comfortable with the 1st base situation. Its been well addressed that Lomo hasn't played 100 games in any of the last 3 years. Even if he magically stays healthy he really only had a 2 month period where he was decent(sound familiar?). Anyway Ill be disappointed if we don't bring in someone to spell him or for insurance. Maybe the organization really believes Montero has a turned a corner and can be that guy but I have see it to believe it.

The pathetic reality of Ryan Howard's present value is that Logon Morrison is actually an upgrade.

LOL. What's up, 8? Howz the weather in Arizona? Ready for Spring Training?

The weather is great right now, cool and cloudy; reminds me of back home. Yeah man, always ready for ST. This year is a little different though, we are a couple of weeks and two wins away from the Super Bowl here in the desert. My wife and I plan on going should the Hawks win the next two, and then shortly after ST will begin. I'm stoked for the year man, I like what Z did this offseason. ST games are a blast, plus gives me a chance to see the kids that'll be stocking up Tacoma.

Seahawks should take the NFC again. But the patriots won't be the pushoverr that the Broncos were. They are gonna have their hands full. Hope you get to go to the Superbowl. If you run into Gisele (Mrs Brady), and your wife's back is turned, give Gisele an ass squeeze for me.

LOL, will do, but would be lying if the squeeze wasn't a little for me too.
