I don't see Alabama getting in unless USC lays an egg here or inbthe PAC Championship game. Ohio will stay above Bama.

I would say you would have to be right, a 3 loss team should NEVER get in over a 1 loss team from a P5 conference. Imo.

That would be a reach. A non-conference, non-division winning team with two losses getting in over a one loss conference winner or a one loss non-conference team.

The announcers on ESPN just said that LSU with 3 losses would be a long shot, ya think? If LSU losses, it would take two teams to lose two more games even though they only have one game left.

I am sure the SEC and ESPN could somehow justify it.

I wouldn't put them in, it's just something the ABC announcers were saying is possible. They said Georgia is in and brought up the possibility both Georgia and LSU could be in even with a loss today.

One would think, but ESPN seems to think it is not a legitimate playoff without two SEC teams.

I think it would be refreshing if the cfp is 4 teams from 4 different conferences. I wouldn't hate it if 2 B1G teams get in, as that would move Minnesota up into a better bowl game, but after today's "The Game", it's hard to feel like tOSU deserves to get in, but that feeling could change depending on how other teams finish out their conference seasons.
