MLBTradeRumors.com is reporting that Mat Latos avoided arbitration with the Reds and signed a 2 yr. /$11.5M deal. And Scott Rolen won't be at Reds Spring Training.

Chapman to the pen is a little frustrating. I can't remember a small market team every shelling out this kinda cash for relief pitching with chapman, broxton, and marshall. At least it's a six inning game now.
