Eric Koreen makes a great point here in his article on one big thing Tajiri needs to do now he's our overpaid GM:

What can be done about the Raptors’ mess on the wing?
The obvious question surrounds DeMar DeRozan and Rudy Gay, and whether they can co-exist. Ever since Gay first suited up as a Raptor in February, there have been concerns that the two are too similar, with both most effective when they attack the rim and terribly inefficient whenever they take a jumpshot. Their 11 weeks as teammates did not answer anything definitively. The questions do not stop there, though: Can Landry Fields find his jumper? Can Linas Kleiza be anything more than damaged goods? Is Terrence Ross worthy of consistent NBA minutes, and, if not, will he ever be? There are certainly no positive, concrete answers to be found. That is what Ujiri is working with.

Although, I disagree with him about the Gay and HeDoRozan can coexist. It's obvious they can. The bigger question is the overpaid bench wings (Landry Fields and Owl) and what to do with T-Bags. If Poo Splatter has his way, T-Bags will get zero minutes again or gets lost in Casey's shitty rotations. I'm actually okay with Fields on the team. Yes, he's overpaid, but he's one of the better rebounders on the roster, decent on defense, can run breaks and can score really well on broken plays.

Raptors Will Attempt To Trade Bargnani By July 1
Jun 01, 2013 12:42 PM EDT

Masai Ujiri will aggressively attempt to trade Andrea Bargnani before July 1 as his top priority now that he is general manager of the Toronto Raptors.

Bargnani is owed $10,750,000 in 13-14 and $11,500,000 in 14-15. Bargnani also has a five percent trade kicker.

The Raptors can use their amnesty on Bargnani during the second week of July if they are unable to trade him.

Raptors Sever Ties With Ed Stefanski
Jun 02, 2013 11:49 AM EDT

The Toronto Raptors have severed ties with Ed Stefanski, according to sources.

Stefanski had one season remaining on his contract with the Raptors and his dismissal was the first decision of Masai Ujiri's tenure with the club.

Stefanski was previously with the Philadelphia 76ers.

the same guy that hosed the raps in the vc trade. I would rather have stefanski than mass urine salesman. Amazing how rigging can change perspective.
