Hope to pray he is ok. Can’t lose him indefinitely. We have to have a healthy Scherzer and Eovaldi to have a shot of getting to the playoffs and going far

You knew something was going to come of it when he first started having issues. I don't know if at the first sign of trouble if they had shut him down for a couple of weeks would have helped or not. But I am not surprised.

Surgery not required but long healing process so his season is over. He should be ready for opening day 2024

The injuries can be identified on standard shoulder MRIs, but more detailed larger field-of-view images are needed to make an accurate assessment of the injury. Most of these injuries heal without the need to operate, and most players are able to return to play within three months.
