All of the members of the CY fan club will tell you he didn't fix the pen because he didn't expect to compete this year. Somehow he convinced Bochy, Maddux, deGrom, and Eovaldi he expected to compete, but not his fan club members.

I would never say that. It was a mistake not to bring in at least 2 relievers during the offseason

I think they’ve quit on each other. During the Toronto series they were animated, they were interacting but it was like they shut down on each other in Cleveland

They lost deGrom Eovalti Sherzer and have no bull pen. Lost Jung and Garcia. That will take heart out pretty quick.
