I'd have Hayes moved up an Pavel moved down a bit. Hayes may step in the line-up this season right away.

If J.T. Miller can get his head straight he would be higher.

Yeah, I was surprised he wasn't #1 on the list.

There's always been behind the scenes talk that he's difficult to deal with and coach. Originally I thought it might be a Torts being Torts thing but it hasn't appeared to have gotten any better. Hopefully he grows up because he has the physical talent.

True, I thought he would break out instead of Kreider last season. Never did.

I was at the head of the group trying to get rid of Torts partly because how he handled the young players, especially Krieder and Zucarella.
I had a feeling Kreider would be much better without him because Torts had him twisted into a pretzel. He was so afraid of a defensive mistake he didn't use his offensive abilities. I thought Miller would also benefit but apparently with him it might be an attitude thing.

I got high hopes for Miller, it wasn't too long ago when people said the same thing about Chris Kreider. I think Miller will mature and become a top 6 forward. But like you said, he's gotta get his head in the game.

Well so far this preseason Duclair Hayes and Haggerty have looked impressive. Duclair looks like the real deal so far and could be an answer to our offensive problems.

agree and Hank is going to need the offense more this year than last. The Rangers must score this season because (IMO) think he will give up more goals this year

Yeah, Duclair looks pretty good. Someone to keep an eye on this year.

They do look more offensive and less defensive on paper this season.

That is because with replacing Stralman with Boyle are defense is not as good as last year so we will need someone on offense to step up.
