That's why we don't have Ragans. That's why Otto, Dunning, and Bradford will all be in the pen in 2024. Maybe Zak Kent, as well.

The same thing happened to Burke. One day it will be Acker and Bratt.

Our starters next season will be Scherzer, Eovaldi, Dunning and Gray and we will probably re-sign Montgomery as the 5th starter. Your bullpen would suck as bad as this year’s version. We will sign a quality closer like Hader and at least 4 reliable bullpen relievers

It isn't my bullpen. Just because I think the Rangers are going to do something, that doesn't mean I like the idea. Never make the mistake that just because I think they will do something, means I am in favor of it. Also, just because I say something should happen doesn't mean I am dumb enough to think the Rangers will do that.

I hate the idea of not trusting your young starters to start without giving them a chance. I hated that they lost the opportunity to find out about Butke in the rotation last year. I hated the plan of what they wanted to do with Ragans, Otto, and Dunning this year, of sticking them in the bullpen.

They will fill the bullpen with young starters next year as long as CY and Bochy are in charge. Guys like Bradford, Otto, and Dunning will be in the pen and I hate that idea. That is their MO.

Guys like Kent, Bratt, and Acker will not be given a chance to start up here and I think that is a terrible thing, a big waste.

Next year Englert will go to AAA and eventually he will come up to the big leagues and dominate as well. This organization is lost when it comes to their own young pitching talent.
