Garcia, Heim, Dunning and Burke all hit Arb1 this off season. What do you think they get?

Heim and Dunning will both do well in arb. Garcia will be a one year rental or will be traded this off-season. Burke likely stays but not sure about that one.

Lowe is 3 for 43 in his last 10 games. 1 for 26 in last 6 games. Am I missing something? He has the lowest BA in all of baseball over the past week of everyday players.

You’re correct don’t know where I got those numbers for Lowe

Arizona’s best shot to knock off Houston is tonight with Gallen starting tonight. I can’t see the Astros sweeping the Dbacks.Rangers prob need one more win but with Dunning out of the picture this weekend a sweep is not off the table.Botchy made 3 big mistakes last night. Moving Lowe back up to the spot. Not starting the 9th with Leclerc and waiting until Chapman loaded the bases to bring Hernandez in.
That’s just bad managing.

Have to face 3 batters so the start of Chapman was the mistake IMO.

Should have let Heaney go 2 innings and then leclerc since he only threw 9 pitches last night. Chapman on back to back nights is a big red flag. Of course no one in that clubhouse publicly questions Bochy. And when the Rangers inevitably miss the playoffs, Bochy still won't have to answer to anyone.

If I was in the clubhouse I'd remind Bochy these aren't his WS Giant teams with Strickland, Romo, Wilson and Lincecum in the BP. I'd make sure he knew just how bad Chapman has been on no days rest. And I'd tell him Lowe has the worst BA in baseball over the past 7 days...so maybe don't bat him in THE MOST IMPORTANT SPOT IN THE LINEUP until he gets his shit together.

Seattle has good SP. Castillo had a bad outing against Astros on Monday. He will be dominant tomorrow. Gilbert and Kirby are both studs.

The only guy we hit well is Woo, the starter today.

I figured we needed to win one game this weekend. I thought it needed to be yesterday or today. If we lose tonight, it's over.

We have no pitching left for the weekend. They've got 2 very good starters.

Yes. Here's the strange thing: if Houston goes 3-0, 1-2, or 0-3 against DBacks we are in no matter what we do in Seattle.

The nightmare scenario is if Houston goes 2-1 and we get swept. In that case we are out...unless Toronto loses 2 more games. Then we are in no matter what.

Go Cubs! Go Marlins! Because if either of them lose tonight, then Arizona clinches...which means they have nothing to play for this weekend. In fact, if Cubs lose during the Dback game, I expect Gallen to be pulled since there is no reason to risk injury.

One of the worst bullpens in modern day mlb history. I mean, 33 blown saves out of 60 chances. Those are legendary numbers. Wow. I knew we were really bad...but historically that bad...just unbelievable.

There is no telling how far we could have gone this year with just an average bullpen. Maybe to the WS.
