We haven't seen Weaver in a long time. Should be interesting.

Thanks Murph. I think Darvish pitches Sunday. I could be wrong on that, though.

No offense, but why would you hope for 1? You think a sweep is coming? I hope we sweep their ass.
We always play them well. I was expecting to take this series. I was expecting the one out of three from the A's series.

Said one thing, meant another, pretty sure you knew what he meant.... and people call me an asshole

You took it that way. I didn't mean it to be rude. I'm sure NightCrawler thinks it'll be a sweep. You never know. That's why they're predictions. He could really be hoping for 1 out of the 3.

Just saw and interesting and impressive stat on the A's Grey. In his 12 starts against the AL West, his ERA is 1.91. That's getting it done.

They're a better team than in the past, but I think we could take this series. Especially if Yu is pitching Sunday.

if Yu is pitching Sunday there's the 1 and i have absolutely no faith in the others

With the rainout today I am sure their pitching rotation will change for this series.

Manager Ron Washington and the Texas Rangers are about to find out if rookie Rougned Odor can be a full-time second baseman.

Washington said he expects to play Odor against all but a few left-handers. Odor, a left-handed hitter, went hitless in his first 14 at-bats against major league left-handers. He has begun using the opposite field more often and has six hits in his last 12 at-bats against left-handers.

“We’ve got to find out if he can handle it,” Washington said. “As long as I don’t feel he needs a day off, it doesn’t matter who’s pitching. So far, he’s been handling everybody.”

Left-hander Robbie Ross reported to Triple-A Round Rock less than 24 hours after being demoted by the Rangers. The basic agreement allows a player 72 hours to report to a minor-league team, but Ross wanted to get started on fixing his pitches as soon as possible. … The Rangers have lost nine of their last 13 games against Oakland.

Darvish has lost eight consecutive decisions to the Athletics. Knucklekeballer Charlie Hough holds the club record for consecutive losses to a single team, with nine defeats against Milwaukee from 1982-88.

“We’re fortunate,” Oakland manager Bob Melvin said of the streak against Darvish. “His stuff is so good, and on top of that, he has seven different pitches. We try to eliminate a couple of them and make him throw strikes. It’s not easy. We’ve been fortunate.”

Entertaining but the longest was left out. I believe The Mick holds the record at 551 ft . Been a while and may be wrong.

Did that one clear everything and actually hit the ground, just curious? I always wonder how far some of them would go if the seats or stadium didn't knock them down. I'm sure there's a select few now that can hit it 500+. I could be mistaken but I think Josh hit one well over 500 ft in BP before a ST game or something.

At the end of the video it showed him hit several 500+ ones in that histrionic Hr derby. I think anyway.
