Hunter is a FA from the Vikes. He would be an improvement and come cheap. The could also trade for Quinn Meinerz from the Broncos who the Rams brought in for an interview back when they got a stiffy for Atwell. We all know the rest of the story.

I don't see Hunter as being cheap, likely the most expensive FA edge on the market after the Jags tagged Allen. He made $17M last year in a restructured contract. Spotrac projects him at $20M per.

The Rams will also make a trade

I could see them hyping up Noteboom in camp and trading before deadline yes.

Probably gonna trade back somewhere in draft

Yea, SJ76, they are going to restructure Noteboom's and possibly Stafford's contracts soon. They are working on a new deal for AD as he is in his last year of his last contract. One podcast claimed the Rams will find an additional $65 million in cap space when it is all said and done. Don't know if that is true.

The most likely of trades is the Rams trading down with the Bills so the Bills can get their prized Secondary player help. The Bills will move to 19 and the Rams to 28 and pick-up a several picks in the Third and Fourth Rounds, possibly another Fifth Rounder to get to the points equivalent of 215 of such a trade.

We shall see how this all plays out because there is speculation the Rams are after Powers-Johnson and Beebe for the O-line. They could be doing all this to mask their real intensions.

We have all witnessed this before when it comes to the twins and the draft.

EDGE's are becoming highly expensive, so my definition of cheap encompasses that comparative notion. We just signed Dotson to a $48 million contract. Nobody knows what the details are of that contract whether it is the original figure of $15.7 mil per year the Rams offered initially with incentives to $16 mil per year or some other arrangement.

The speculated deal with Hunter may be a backloaded affair too to reach say $21 or $22 per year, but the developing story is what you mentioned Shopson. Hunter is a repeat of the Miller experience and he is getting older.

So, that particular trade is losing traction and may fade for those very reasons.

For sure.

Snead and Co will definitely want to try and pick up a 4th rounder at least.

Anyone is an upgrade over Rozeboom. Never understood what they saw in him to keep him around.
He was RaheemShitferBrains favs boy just like Reeder and Bobby Evans were McShitferBrains favs boys and now they are going to replace Rozeboom with another favs boy Trammel who is more of the same instead of drafting a guy like Edgerrin Cooper or Jeremiah Trotter.

We received five comp picks so maybe Snead will do a trade and pick-up one or more 4th Rounders.

I have said this before, the best inside backer to replace Rozeboom is across the hall at SoFi stadium. A different type of Kendricks in Eric. WE get rid of our trash Kendricks who is useless and pick-up this guy the Chargers released who would instantaneously better our D especially in the middle.

Von Miller's career is coming to a close. He'll finish his present contract at least one more year in Boofalo! Taking a paycut. Two rings. He has made his money.

Glad he chose to sign elsewhere instead of the Rams.

Otherwise, the Rams would be eating another big contract.

Oh yea, that contract would have been a major consistent nightmare that would have destroyed the Rams. They did the best and right thing!

Yep, we have some nice picks now. Still could use a Four that we gave Pissburgh for Dotson.
