Brady still has it no controversy there. Lot more zip on the ball this year. I wonder why - maybe his hand was more banged up than we reallized?

Garappolo is not (yet) ready to play but he definitely seems to have the talent to back-up and maybe start someday.

Mallett seems ready to back-up but we won't keep him around much longer if Garapollo continues to improve.

Cuts of some very good players will come this week and next.
We will have to cut 2 more when Browner and Tyms come back after game 4. Are we going to cut him now? I don't think so. Could we use the roster spot? Absolutely. Maybe the answer comes week 5?????

Garappolo has shown more poise and just basic football ability in one pre-season than Mallet has shown in four. Mallet needs to prove he's better the other people fighting to stay on the roster because the QB ranking is pretty much over.
