That would be an interesting decision. I'd think if Siemian plays decently to keep the starter spot he will return and at least go into camp as the starter in 2017. I think one of the biggest benefits to starting Siemian is he gives the Broncos an option next year so they are not starting over at QB again. Then again, the team is invested in Lynch, and if the air was right to convert a 7th round pick into a 4th rounder or something like that, I'm sure Elway would jump on it.

Well Trevor Siemian is the next Tom Brady so why bother trading him anyway?

Trade Paxton for a first round pick because we are the Broncos and that stuff will happen for us as Siemian turns into Tom Brady.

Well I figure if Siemian even shows himself to be a competent QB in this league we might be able to get even more than that from somebody. Heck Kevin Kolb got the Eagles a 2nd round pick AND DRC back in 2011 I think. He had only started 7 games at that point. So if Siemian can do it for 16 games plus maybe a playoff game or two then yeah I would say 1st round pick is where you start the discussion.

But that is getting very far ahead of ourselves.
