This, the final week of the regular season, and the incentives apparently boils down to two things for this Washington franchise. The first ...er....last could be the final appearances of two long term NFL players. Say what you will about either, but the end for Santana Moss and Ryan Clark may finally come at or around 4:30pm on Sunday evening.

The second, although I'm not sure if it matters, is ending the season with victories over two divisional rivals, Philadelphia and Dallas. Where the Philadelphia game was meaningful, Sunday's game stands in stark contrast in being devoid of anything worth watching for.

...........Despite it all, (bettors and fantasy players excepted) we'll watch it anyway and hope for an ending that matches our predictions for this final game. The question as always, is what are those predictions, player (s) of the game and remarkable event(s)?

Sty.... got to say this game holds meaning for a couple of reasons.

1. With a Skins win, Dallas has no chance of getting a first round bye in the playoffs. So Dallas is playing for at minimum a first round bye, and possibly home field throughout the playoffs. So while we cant knock them out of the playoffs, we can make their playoffs road a bit more difficult.

2. The more important part is, once again guys are playing for jobs at this point. this is the last time a lot of these guys get to make an impression on the coaches and more importantly the guy who will be making the call on who goes, stays or comes back next season. And even if you are not going to be in DC next year, you are also putting down film for 31 other squads at this point.

3. Bob.. Simply put he has to put down a solid game to give himself a leg up on the starting position next year. He cant lock up the starting role (unless thats already been decided by Da Danny), but he can give himself a serious leg up with another win and a solid outing. Sad that its even a question at this point, but it is.

4. Has... I know many here think its a foregone conclusion that he has GOT to be fired the moment the clock hits 00:00 and that Dan should have him escorted out of Fedex field like this...

But truth is, Has can make a case for why he should be back.

Now having said all that, I put Breeland as the redskins player of the game. He will hold Dez to under 5 catches, have 3 passes defended and a pick or near pick.

Skins lose a nail biter by 4 points. Neither Defense looks like they could stop tiger Woods from scoring in strip club.

Bob has a solid outing, and Morris gets honorable mention for capping his season with 20+ carries for over 100 yards.

Final 28-24 Dallas

Home field an a 1st round bye might be enticing for them, however, I believe that getting out of this game with excellent health will take precedence over an all out effort to win the game. Sure, they will attempt to get the record for Murray, but beyond that look for them to pull their starters as quickly as possible.

I'm not sure that there are a lot of guys playing to enhance their resumes' at this point after a 2 year run totaling 7 or 8 wins. Nor do I think that this game will offer anything to anyone once Dallas pulls their starters and our team is going against their scrubs.

Very funny pic about Haz......I'm betting that the excuse dujour will be injuries and he returns despite the backlash from fans and media types.

Washington wins going away.....33-20. Dallas pulls their starters midway into the first quarter.

Sty... dont get it wrong. IM fine with Has getting fired because i know at the end of the day, some one has got to be the scapegoat for another bad season.

All Im asking and have been asking then is give me a name. Give me a guy who will actually improve the defense?? And Im sorry but Wade and Rex just dont do it for me.

By the way, I think the only way Dallas gets out of Fedex in excellent health is to not get on the plane. I get the feeling Gruden is out to make a statement that even though the team had a shitty season, they will go down swinging.... hard. We will likely lose, but Dallas will pay a heavy price for the win.

RG3's ass will get bruised from his horrible sliding technique all game long. He does enough to keep the game close.

Then Bashaud Breeland finishes off the season with a pick 6 as we win 23-17.
