That second line certainly is intriguing.

Olesz is going to be prob the most interesting person to watch. PDB had him before. He's a former top 10 pick. He's scored double digit goals in the NHL 3 times, which means that unless he's a liability, he should be able to Bump one of Gio-Carter-Berneir, right? Bernier the least likely IMO. The guy showed during his last 2 years in the NHL that he's a 15/30 guy. That's not terrible for a $1M cap hit, not by a long shot. As far as I know he was kept in the minors in CHI because of cap problems. We'll see. Also extremely excited to see Teds. TG says he added 10 lbs this off season, and was one of the biggest standouts. Or at least stood out as much as a guy can in practice and scrimmages. Tonight is a big night for these two guys.

Also, I'm hoping Boucher goes to the AHL. Can't hurt to let him get seasoned a bit more, but still excited to see him tonight. Word is he's not exactly quick, but has a deadly release. Sounds look good old Petr Sykora to me.

I assume that Urbom/Gelinas and Merrill/Severson will prob be paired up and split the games. It makes sense to pair the rookies with NHL talent to give them the best chance to shine.

Boucher looked sharp on 2 rushes in a row. 1st made a beauty pass to spring Sislo when it looked like he would pass, then got off a rocket wrist shot when it looked like he would pass
