Can't for the life of me,understand why Hakstol didn't play Stolarz when he had the opportunity.

I said in other threads that he was going to burn out Mason,and I think it showed,espescially in the playoffs.

It's tough to second guess it, because we needed to win a lot of those games in order to make it in. I'll gladly take the six game series and all of the experience it provided to our young players and coaches. I guess we're just not quite ready yet for the big time, but we showed a serious amount of heart in the final three games. Definitely overachieved by all standards, despite the lack of offense.

It's a fine line, really. I think if we have Couturier in this series, but they still lose Orpik, it's an entirely different series. Maybe we win in seven.

It also would've been one hell of a battle if we had started Neuvy earlier or even the entire series. With all due respect, he's not letting one in from 100+ feet away. That can't happen. No excuses there for Mase.
