We had a QB go down with season ending knee injuries 2 years in a row and won the Big XII.

Feel bad for Maryland folk-if we any around here?- They were actually a fairly good team with their #1 QB, then he blew out his knee at the end of the Texas game. So they brought in #2 QB, who looked like he could be really special, and now he's out.

So we may never know if this team could have gone on a little roll.

Adam Bednarik was once considered the best QB on our team.... while Pat White who expert coaches at LSU and Bama thought was a DB waited his turn.

Adam got hurt in the 4rth quarter of a game in 2005 and.... things worked out real well that year and for years to come. Granted he wasn't 3rd String but..

I was at that game. It was hot as fuck. It set the TERPS record gameday heat index.
The 3rd stringer looked like he was literally melting and moving in slow motion.

MD just doesnt have the ability to recruit depth yet.

Md can sometimes get a surprise elite recruit, but the backups will still be 2-stars and no-stars.
All summer long the entire Maryland fan base could not stop talking about Kasim Hill.

He was pretty awesome versus Texas and looked every bit as good as the hype.
I feel bad for Durkin. He lost his prize recruit and program saviour hype after 2 games.
