I never want my team to lose but as long as everyone else in the NL West loses, I'm ambivalent about losing to the Pirates or Reds right now. I just want the pressure kept on the Cards more than anything.

Really hoping AJ can continue what Frank started, yesterday. We need another seven plus inning performance from Burnett to continue to give the pen a much needed rest. Have to take advantage of these teams who are out of the race and only play spoiler ( Hammer).

Liriano is now up to 121 IP in 124 games. If he goes 8 innings his next start, he will be eligible for ERA rankings. It might not happen in his next outting, but he will get there if he stays healthy.
