Wow! All I can say is Wow! Franco has electrified the Phillies offense. However with Howard batting behind him Franco will probably get walked a lot in the future. We need a power hitter to bat after Franco. But we don't have one. Howard has some power but he is an easy out at this stage in his career.
Franco is breaking some relatively obscure records. The first Phils rookie to hit 10 HRs in his first 37 games. I think that's how they stated it last night.
That core of Galvis, Hernandez, Blanco, Franco, Revere, and Rupp are really beginning to provide consistent and explosive offense. Add Ruf, Herrera, and Asche and we have a pretty good team coming together. I hope this sticks. Now we have to work on our pitching and we should get rid of these dolts that are killing us that you know who drug into Philly with his dumpster diving.
