I'm all for optimism, but going "deep into October" might be a little premature

Looking at the replay of that Rupp 9th inning double off Paps, it seems that Harper initially misjudged it and was a half-step behind tracking it down, although it's hard to say if he would have caught the ball. Still, Paps may try once again to strangle Harper.

Normally, I really don't care about what Retro says, but when he's bragging about something he's incorrect on, it elicits a minor response. He's violating the rule I made about asserting intellectual baseball knowledge based on a claim they're clearly wrong about

Yeah, like I said, if he took the perfect route he maybe could have caught it. Certainly a very difficult play, and a run still would have scored

Yep jvett. I know I would like to see Ruf being played more so that he has a fair chance to get his hitting going to the level where I know he can put up some serious numbers. He has not received a fair shake since he has been a Phillie mainly due to the allegiance to lardass!

So true Retro. Ruf has proved that he can put up good numbers with regular playing time. When they use him like
a yo-yo he performs poorly.
