Good evening, loyal fans. As long as Howard and Brown are 4th and 5th, runs will rarely cross the plate. Howard has been hitting .180 since he hit .418 during May's 6-game winning streak.

You are right jvett. I was thinking the same thing. Ironcally both of those bums are playing in order to block Ruf from having a chance to play every day. Amaro would say it is a righty lefty thing but Ruf tore up righties when he was sent back to Lehigh recently. How can they ignore that? No better time than now to give Ruf about 10 starts in a row and see if he can find a rhythm. Ruf makes the pitchers throw more plus he can draw walks. His average is down to all the jerking around and pinch hit appearances. Amaro recently said that Brown will start the rest of the season. I will stop now before I go into my normal Amaro tirade. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!
