The forecheck has been outstanding for stretches tonight. Really dominant. The last couple minutes of the second period, the top two lines were flying in the offensive zone. Crosby threw his weight around, Malkin and Letang put together some creative offense, and that play by Perron to keep the puck in the zone was great.

It's been a good week for the Pens so far, if we could beat the Maple Leafs on Saturday, that's 4 wins in a row, making us the 2nd hottest team in the NHL. Hopefully Kessel will be pumped about his return to Toronto and have a big game.

You know, I actually believe that. I can't think of any forward on the team who gets more respect as Dupuis probably does in their locker room. I'll never forget that press conference last year when he announced the blood clot issues, and Crosby, Geno, Letang, Fleury and a few others were all there with him. I don't even think it was a game day, they all just dropped what they were doing and came to the rink to support Dupuis.
